Lots of weeds!
Year 3 children dug some HUGE weeds from the beds today! There’s now much more room for the plants we want to spread and grow.

Class 4 Sports Day 2025
What a fantastic Sports Day! It was so lovely to see all of our amazing children involved in Sports Day. Thank you to all friends and family who came to support.
Class 4 Detectives
This week, we had our final junior cadets session with the local PCSOs. They taught us all about forensics and how police solve crimes using evidence from the crime scene.

An excellent morning was had by all today! Yellow were the victors but the team work, encouragement and resilience shown by all children was what made us the most proud today.

Class 1 enjoyed taking part in their first sports day at Anson! The children showed great team spirit and tried their best in each race. They even managed some huge jumps in the hurdles race!
It was lovely to see the children congratulating each other! Well done class 1!
Creating rocks from Starburst sweets
In Science, we have been studying how rocks are formed. We have created models of the sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks through using Starburst sweets. We analysed the features of each ‘rock’ to create each rock form. We had lots of fun.
Sketching skills in Art
We have been practising our sketching skills with our pencils. We have then applied them to our sketches of the Gherkin building in London.

What a lovely time Class 1 have had today in their RE session. We have been thinking again what makes us all special, unique and important and today we looked closely about how we are all different and how that is such a great thing to be.

Here in class 2 we love to be creative and explore new things.
This term are exploring colour and collage.
The children spent time drawing a bird, then using different colours from newspapers and magazines, created beautifully bright collages.

Summer has officially arrived here in class 2!
