Last day of the Autumn term fun and games
We enjoyed playing with our toys today to celebrate the end of a busy Autumn term. Den building was very popular in Class 3! We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and look forward to welcoming you back on Monday 5th January.

Class 2 Christmas Party 2025
We’ve enjoyed a fun filled afternoon of party games and treats!
A Christmas Tuesday!
We have had a delicious Christmas lunch followed by singing 'The Twelve Days of Christmas!'. We then had party games with lots of music, dancing and some more food in class. What a lovely day!
Class 2 Christmas Lunch
We enjoyed Christmas lunch with the whole school today and what a feast it was. Roast Turkey and all the trimmings topped off with our Anson tradition of our school singalong to ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’.
Magnetic Fields
We have been investigating magnetic fields in Science. We placed magnets under a piece of paper and then sprinkled some iron filings onto the paper. The filings created patterns when they attracted or repelled. This was lots of fun to see and we know much more about magnetic fields…
Volcanic eruptions!
To complete our learning about volcanoes, we made our own model volcanoes and used vinegar, washing up liquid, bicarbonate of soda and water to cause them to erupt!
Camera, action!
In Class 4, we have been planning to record footage on our topic of our choice. Today we started filming this footage using all the techniques that we have practised over the last few weeks.
Creating our Christmas Cards
Class 1 have been working incredibly hard this week creating our fantastic Christmas cards.
All the children worked so carefully using their printing skills to design and create their Christmas tree on the front of their card. The children then used cotton buds to carefully place glue dots…
Class 2 Christmas jumpers!
Class 2 not only looked fabulous in their Christmas jumpers today, but raised money for Save the Children with all their kind donations too!
