Welcome to Anson Church of England Primary School

On behalf of the Local Governing Committee and staff, I would like to offer a warm welcome to Anson Church of England Primary School. Everyone at Anson believes that education involves more than just delivering the National Curriculum.  We equip our pupils with the skills and attitudes they need to become confident, independent and successful learners, based on our Christian values as a Church of England school, so that they achieve their true potential as a unique child of God.

Our Vision

Here at Anson we provide a stimulating environment of discovery and learning. Living our core Christian values of Love, Respect and Friendship. Developing helping hands and open hearts each and every day.  Nurturing every young mind to achieve their very best.

Our Christian Vision

The scriptures of 1 Corinthians 16:14 provide the basis for our Christian vision and why we believe our children can flourish under God.

Our Bible Verse reflects our Christian Vision of helping Hands: ‘Let all that you do be done in love’.  1 Corinthians 16:14.

Through our core values of love, friendship and respect, coupled with an environment where each child is cherished and valued as an individual, we enable our children to flourish, whilst always offering a helping hand to those that need it.

Our Motto

Our motto 'Believe and Achieve' reflects our intent statements that are embedded within all of our curriculum. We aspire for everyone to become a responsible, happy and tolerant citizen in order to prepare them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life in our rapidly changing society.

The school has high expectations of all pupils regardless of ability and gender.  We instil our pupils with a sense of personal and collective responsibility and we place a great emphasis on the personal, social, spiritual and health education of our pupils.

I hope you enjoy visiting our website.
