Girls football session

Boccia Tournament
Class 2 and 3 enjoyed a Boccia tournament against 2 of the other schools within our trust. They played an excellent game and came second place overall, well done to everyone who played, what excellent teamwork skills you showed.
Which emotions do Christians feel during Holy Week?
As we approach Easter, we have learnt more about the events of Holy Week and the emotions this may bring. We compared these to some of the emotions in the film ‘Inside Out’. We came up with ideas such as joy as Jesus rode into Jerusalem, sadness at his crucifixion on Good Friday and hope on Easter…
Human and physical features of our village
Today we worked in a group to sort landmarks of the UK into two groups, human or physical features. We then sorted features of our village in the same way.

World Book Day Quiz
This morning we completed a Reading Quiz for World Book Day. But before we could answer the questions, we had to find them as they were all hidden in the Outdoor classroom! It was great to get a bit of fresh air and exercise at the same time as learning new facts!
New saint and value
Our new value for this half term is ‘courage’ something St Bernadette of Lourdes showed plenty of during her life, never giving up on her faith.
Dance
This week during PE, we danced to songs we could do in unison, such as The Macarena, Cha Cha Slide and It's Time for Africa, before comparing with some older dance moves such as the Twist.
