Last day of the Autumn term fun and games
We enjoyed playing with our toys today to celebrate the end of a busy Autumn term. Den building was very popular in Class 3! We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and look forward to welcoming you back on Monday 5th January.
Volcanic eruptions!
To complete our learning about volcanoes, we made our own model volcanoes and used vinegar, washing up liquid, bicarbonate of soda and water to cause them to erupt!

Maths tables tests
Today the Year 4 children completed a practise Multiplication screening check online. EVERYONE improved on their previous score so very well done Year 4!
Geographical research
Today we researched Mount Vesuvius during our Geography lesson and created a fact file about it. We chose this volcano because it is the one we have been reading about during our English lessons, it’s the most active volcano in Europe!
Active Maths in Year 4
Today our Year 4 children played some games to practise multiplying and dividing by a ten or one hundred. Some of them have already noticed a trick to help them calculate the answers really fast!
Christingle making in Class 3
This afternoon we made Christingles ready for our service in Church tomorrow. It linked nicely to our RE lesson, which was learning about the symbolism of the items used on the Christingle.
Active maths, multiples of 2
Year 3 braved the frosty weather for Maths today! They were recognising multiples of 2, completing a series of counting tasks and missing number activities outside.
