Today in our short knitting session we welcomed some ladies from the village who have come to help us and pass on their knitting skills. Some of us have finished one of our hand warmers. 

In our maths sessions this week, we are exploring patterns. This afternoon after looking at some repeating patterns together in class, the children were challenged to create their own repeating pattern using natural resources they found in our outdoor classroom.

Today in RE we worked in groups to design a Church for a God who is just loving or a God who is just Holy. We thought about all the different areas and resources which would make the Church a special place.

Today we learned to make some delicious shortbread using just 3 ingredients. We talked about what additions we could make like chocolate chips, dried fruit etc.

Today in Class 1 we have been celebrating and finding out about World Mental Health day. We have all worn yellow items of clothing and given a donation to help raise money for some of the fantastic charities that support people with their mental health.
