Class 3

We’ve had a wonderful few days with our Christmas dinner, Class party and finishing off all of our topics. Here are a few photos of our party.

Class 3 have completed their Christmas Stockings. They have designed, cut out and sewn their creations. We are so proud of all their hard work and how their skill level has improved. 

Class 3 have made some beautiful Christingles for their service this afternoon. They can also explain the symbolism of each part! 
 

Thank you for your donations to Save the Children's Christmas jumper day! The children all look lovely and festive, ready for our Christmas Fair this afternoon.

During our RE lessons, we have been exploring the idea of the Trinity (three separate people but still one God) and how we could show these 3 parts through art. Here are some of our pieces!

Today we used the iPads to research facts about different countries, such as their currency and famous landmarks. We then compared them with the UK to see how many similarities and differences there are. 
 

We have welcomed some ladies from our community into Class 3 today to support our children with their sewing. 

We are very proud of the progression of sewing skills. The children managed to embroider a shape onto felt as well as appliqué a shape. Some children even sewed a sequin on.

Today in Class 3 we tried our hands at sewing. Some of us had sewn before but for some of us it was the first time ever! We needed to thread our needles ourselves, which was quite fiddly. Thank you for all of your donations towards Children in need. We have completed some mindfulness pictures of Pudsey whilst giving thanks for how lucky we are at Anson. We then created our own Gladiator name stickers and participated in the Gladiators live - ‘Find your Superpower’ sports activity.
