Watercolour poppies for the Village
In May we will be celebrating VE Day. In preparation, the village will be decorated with hundreds of poppies painted by local school children. Today we used watercolours to paint our poppies ready to display. See if you can recognise yours when walking through the village!
World book day 2025
Today we enjoyed dressing up as our favourite book characters. We took part in a ‘What book is it from?’ quiz and a game of ‘Book bingo’. The children looked amazing!
Baking Cupcakes
Today we tested out our baking skills. We are getting very good at measuring and mixing. We were pleased with how our cupcakes worked out - yummy!

Our Pastel Masterpieces

Safer Internet Day
We have taken part in Internet Safety Day by joining the BBC live lesson. We explored how to identify scammers and avoid them. The children listened with great care.
Computing in Class 3
Today we used wavacity to record our own sounds. We then played them back and started to edit and improve our recordings.
Chinese New Year
In class 3’s ‘language’ lesson they enjoyed learning a few facts about the Chinese New Year and the animals that were chosen for the Chinese zodiac. They then created some springy snakes to represent the year of the snake.
Meeting a person from the Sikh faith

Science Sounds
Today we investigated pitch and volume using different objects. We used a ruler, bottles with varying amounts of water in and straws. We used our sound Data Logger on the iPad to collect the data.
