We have started our Art unit on Sculptures today. We looked at the artist Andy Goldsworthy and how he uses materials found in nature to create his art pieces. We created our own pieces of art work in his style by exploring our school grounds.

We have been investigating the effects of different drinks on our teeth. We submerged eggs (their shell has similar properties to the enamel on our teeth) into different liquids. In Science, we have been exploring herbivores, omnivores and carnivores. We have reflected on what their faeces looks like once they have digested their food. Wow - we are so proud of the performance by Class 3, in our Easter play of The Tale of Three Trees.

Izzy has shown true kindness by making lemonade and selling it to raise funds for the school. She proudly donated £6. Thank you for being a courageous advocate Izzy. 

We have explored British Science Week in Class 3. This year the theme is Change and Adapt which we thought carefully about. We created posters to enter into a competition.  

We have started writing our own pieces of music and have been busy rehearsing. We know lots about crochets and minims. 
 

Today we tested out our baking skills. We are getting very good at measuring and mixing. We were pleased with how our cupcakes worked out - yummy! 

We have had lots of fun learning our times tables outside in the sunshine today. Lots of fun catching games are helping us to remember our times table facts.
