Orienteering
Today we completed our first orienteering course in PE. We used a map of the school grounds to navigate our way to retrieve the markers identified on the maps. We worked in teams to find the quickest way to complete the course without missing out any check points.
Caterpillars!
Our caterpillars are growing! They have eaten lots of food, we have noticed their skin shed, webs and also lots of poo! We have been making observations and notes in our caterpillar diaries, carefully documenting this process.
Class 1 are really enjoying watching them grow!
Minibeast Hotel
Class 1 explored minibeast habitats in Science today and why minibeasts like small, sheltered places. We went outside to collect natural materials, sticks, leaves, pine cones and bark to create a bug hotel out of a tyre.
