In our RE session today, we have been finding out why and how Christians celebrate Christmas. We have talked about how Christians go to church, sing lovely Christmas songs called carols and perform nativity plays to celebrate Christmas.
We then found out that Christmas Day is Jesus’ birthday and then we all shared how we celebrate birthdays with our families and friends. All the children then worked carefully to design and write a birthday card for Jesus.
How lovely are our birthday cards for Jesus! Well done Class 1!
