Boccia tournament
Some of Class 3 took part in a Boccia tournament against St Mary’s. Boccia is a sport using precision to roll balls at a target and see who can stop the closest. Everyone did very well! The final score was very close, 27-30 to Anson.

We have started our Art unit on Sculptures today. We looked at the artist Andy Goldsworthy and how he uses materials found in nature to create his art pieces. We created our own pieces of art work in his style by exploring our school grounds.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit!
Class 2 have kicked started the summer term 1 with their new English focus based on The Tale of Peter Rabbit.
Today the children explored new vocabulary within the book and developed their understanding of the text, which was written and published over 100 years ago!
