Letters to Father Christmas
We finished writing our letters to the big man today and posted them off to the North Pole this afternoon!
Knitting begins
Today, was our first knitting lesson. We showed much resilience as some of us found it tough. We learnt the skills of casting on and stitching a row.
Earth and moon’s orbits
We learnt about the orbits of the Earth and moon and then created our own models to explain this.
Year 1 number bonds to 10

Elf on the shelf
We had a very special delivery in Class 2 this morning, direct from the North Pole!
The children were very excited to discover we had been sent a class elf and voted to call her Rainbow.

Class 2 Arts and Crafts Club have been getting their festive jingle on this lunchtime. We’ve been busy making these beautiful orange peel mini wreaths. Don’t they look fabulous? The classroom smells delightful too!

Microbes experiment
We’ve had great fun is science this afternoon, exploring the spread of microbes. We’ll be keeping a close watch on our samples this week to see how they develop!
Points for passing
Today we have been practising passing in netball. We played a game, scoring when we made a number of passes.
Class 2 Arts and Crafts Club
We had a lovely festive time at Arts and Crafts club today. The children made ‘Christmas Wishes’ jars, complete with real conifer and snow!
