We had our local PSCO in again this week working with our year 5 pupils. We looked at forensics and how this is used by police to solve crimes. 

We have been practising our new weekly spellings using scrabble tiles this week.

In science we have been testing the brightness of bulbs in in differing circuits.

A top effort from everybody in Class 4 for World Book Day.

Today, we have been making basic circuits and discussing how they work.

Today we have begun our Greenpower Racing project in DT. Our year 6 teams began dissembling the vehicles whilst the year 5 teams collaborated on a design for each car.

We have finished using are microbits this week Andy we’ve had a go at choosing our own programming.

In our PE lesson with Miss Jarrett today we used the equipment to show our balancing and transition skills. It was so much fun and we were all very sensible using the equipment safely. 

We’ve had a lovely afternoon exploring shape, texture and shadow. Challenging our ability to observe and record, mark make and create. We’ve got some wonderful artists in Class 2!

We have been on the gym equipment today which we were all very excited about. 

We’ve had a great afternoon exploring shadow. We looked at what a shadow is, how it is made and then had a go at drawing some.  It was not easy but the children did a fantastic job!

The children have been using various equipment in Gymnastics to hold a number of poses.
