Word Hunt

Today in English we looked at improving our vocabulary by using more exciting words! We started our lesson by completing a WORD HUNT! We ventured around our classroom looking for words hidden under our desks. We then used our detective knowledge to classify these words in to different groups. We soon discovered that they they fitted into synonyms groups. We discussed the definitions of the vocabulary before writing and including the words into our our exciting sentences. Mrs Duffy was blown away by the work we produced and the sentences we were able to write about the book we are reading "One Boys War". Hopefully we will remember some of this impressive vocabulary to use in our diary entries at the end of the week!
