Number Bonds Fun!

In Maths this week the children have been introduced to the part- whole model. This is an introduction to their new unit of work, Addition and Subtraction. They have taken part in lots of practical activities which they have thoroughly enjoyed. In Year 1 the children have begun to learn their number bonds to ten and especially enjoyed learning some simple rhymes and a matching game where they had to search for their number bond ‘friend’.
