Today during our outdoor Thursday, class 2 spent time building dens, weeding, tidying our allotment and exploring nature.
We ended the visit with a quick parable of how God created our world.
Class 4 - Bridge Building
Today, we designed and made bridges with th goal of taking as much weight as possible. We had lots of fun working in teams to build our bridges.

Geography - card games.
This afternoon we wrote cards with the definition for different river features eg meander or estuary. We then played a memory game to match the definitions up, in small groups.
Recycled sculptures inspired by Richard and Judith Lang
We have analysing the artwork of Richard and Judith Lang. They collect rubbish from the beach and create sculptures of sea creatures.
We have designed and and created our own sculptures. We love them.
PE with Class 4
This afternoon the children who were in school from Class 3 and 4 joined together to play a big game of rounders! It was great for the older children to give the younger ones some tips!
Dice game for multiplication
The Year 4 children are still practising their times tables every day in preparation for their upcoming multiplication check. Today they played a new game where they rolled 2 dice and whatever numbers they landed on they multiplied together and had to work out the answer in 6 seconds! Fast maths…

Saying goodbye to our beautiful butterflies!
This morning we released our butterflies in the sunshine and said as so lovely to see our butterflies up close and some of us were lucky enough to hold our butterflies.

Class 4 - Summer 1 - Fun in the sun
