Nature houses
Class 1 enjoyed creating their houses using natural resources in our outdoor classroom. We had designs that uses softer resources to create their fluffy beds, chimneys, garages, a boat and lots of attention to detail!

Mini Beast Hunt in Science
We have been learning about invertebrates and vertebrates in Science. We investigated the habitats around our school grounds and found lots of extra members of Anson! We then categorised them into vertebrates and invertebrates. Great hunting Class 3!

Class 1 have been thinking about families in our topic lesson today and we all spoke about how families all come in different shapes and sizes. We looked at picturesque of different families and read what types of families ours may be.

Ordering numbers on a number line
Today we started Active Maths. We estimated where different numbers cards went on each numberline, up to 1000 for Y3 and up to 10,000 for Y4.
Learning to play the recorder
Today we learnt some of the basics of recorder playing, accompanied with some singing, dancing, guitar and drum playing.
How can we be a steward of God’s world?
This was the question we answered in RE today after looking at some of the things God created in our outdoor classroom. We came up with things such as Litter picking, not wasting water, giving to the poor and planting more trees.

Dear Zoo
Class 2 have been using Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell for inspiration in their English lessons this week. They have been showcasing their fantastic vocabulary skills writing some wonderfully descriptive sentences about the animals in the text.
