Respresenting numbers to 5 with body actions

In maths today, Class 1 have been thinking about representing numbers to 5 in different ways. We put on our coats and found a safe place on our outside area to enjoy our maths activity.

Everyone took it in turns to roll a dice, identify the number rolled by subitising the dots on the dice and chose an action or task to do to represent the number rolled. We had great fun jumping, touching our toes or noses or wiggling our bodies the correct number of times shown on the dice.
