Children in Need in Class 1

Class 1 have had such a brilliant time today completing various Children in Need themed activities.

Pudsey and his friends have helped the children to practise and consolidate their number recognition and subitising skills, use their fantastic phonics knowledge to hear and write the sounds in different CVC words and work together to colour in a large colour by number Pudsey on our IWB. We also used some natural resources to create our own Pudsey creations and decorated Pudsey’s bandana, which had lost its spots with very colourful pom poms.
 

We shared a story about why we raise money for Children in a Need and talked about how the amazing money we raised today with all our friends in school will really help any children who are less fortunate than ourselves.
