Finding matching numbers!

This week in our maths sessions we are exploring numbers 1 to 3 and have been practising our subitising skills and recognising each number in different representations.  All the children have been fantastic and have shown and developed super subitising skills to 3.

This afternoon we went outside for an active maths session and everyone had a card with either a number or a representation of a number on. We travelled around the area in different ways and when Mrs Philp shouted “partner up” and the children had to find a partner with either a matching number representation or number to match theirs. All the children were brilliant at this-what great maths detectives they are!
