Our harvest!

Yesterday we spent the afternoon in the outdoor classroom and helped me to harvest some of the vegetables we have been growing in our kitchen garden.

With our gardening gloves on, we managed to harvest some carrots, onions, lettuce and even some potatoes! 

Today, Miss Rackham gave them a good wash, sliced them up, and we gave our crop the all important taste test. It was delicious!
