Class 1’s literacy focus this week has been The Snake and the Whale.
The snail had made a trail of Save the Whale on our floor which was very exciting!
We have explored facts about snails and whales, watched some amazing videos on both creatures and written some beautiful pieces of work sharing our facts.
We learnt about things that snails and whales eat, looking at food chains in our ocean and created our own showing where the energy is transferred as the food chain gets bigger.
