Fun exploring 3D shapes outside

This week in our maths sessions, Class 1 have been finding out about 3D shapes and their properties.

Today, Mrs Philp set up a 3D shape obstacle course in our outside area to challenge us. It’s was great fun. Mrs Philp asked each child to travel across the course to a particular 3D shape. All the children worked hard to remember each 3d shapes name and carefully travelled across the obstacle course to get their 3d shape. Once the children had reached their shape, Mrs Philp asked the children to share a fact about the shape.
