Amazing phonic work in Class 1!

In our monster phonic sessions this week, Class 1 have been learning the Tricky Witch er digraph. They have been working so brilliantly and have remembered it in their reading and writing activities.

This morning all the children worked brilliantly to read each sentence and then draw a picture to match. Everyone was so focused and enjoyed talking about their pictures. The children then practised their blending skills again by reading some yes or no questions and then answering them. Some of the questions were quite silly, which made everyone laugh!
