What a fantastic and busy world book day we’ve had in Class 1!
We’ve loved seeing all the children’s costumes and hearing about their favourite books. We had such a hard decision to choose our winner as everyone had made such an effort.
We started the day with a whole school World Book Day worship and loved seeing all the children’s and staff costumes then had the tricky decision to choose a winner. Our winner was Zog, who’s good friend Princess Pearl was very pleased!
Next we joined Class 2 to find out all about how Monster Phonics was created and how the books are made, written and illustrated. It was very informative!
We had a fantastic time in Class designing our own book covers and building our favourite characters out of sticklebricks in the construction tuff spot - can you guess our characters?
