Class 1 went on a barefoot, bear hunt walk, following on from the book they are looking at in literacy this week. “ the mud is cold and squishy.” “ the grass tickled and was cold.” “ aggghhhh a cave”
The children really enjoyed this activity and were surprised at how much they could feel with their feet.
Class 1 used the experience to help them write descriptive captions.
