Maths puzzles

This week we have been using the column method to add and subtract numbers. We wanted to improve our quick addition skills, so today completed some number puzzles that gave us lots of opportunities to add and take away. Year 3 children had to arrange the dominoes in a particular way so that each side of the square made a total of 12. Year 4 children had to work out the missing values in their number sentences. The children showed excellent team work and resilience skills today, well done!
