Today in English we began a new unit called "One Boys War". We read a small snippet of the book and discussed and learnt about having empathy with different characters. We thought carefully about how each of the characters in our story would feel when "War was declared" which links to our World War 1 topic.
We used a freeze frame during our lesson to help us and also used the "I do" "We do" "You do" approach to help us with our writing. I'm sure you'll agree the writing below is very impressive!
