Today in PHSE, we have worked on understanding the most common injuries and conditions affecting children which may lead to the provision of first aid. We had many grown up discussions throughout the session explaining and understanding what anaphylaxis is, how we can treat burns and what to do if someone has suffered an electric shock.
We ended our session by watching a St John Ambulance video to explain how to put someone in the recovery position. We then got into partners and had a go at this ourselves following a step by step guide.
