Image of Map work in Geography

In Geography today we identified which animals we would see on Safari. We then followed clues to place pictures of the animals where we would be likely to find them on a real safari trip. For example, the flamingoes live at the watering hole but can’t be too close to the cheetahs and the rhinos like to be near rocks but not mountains. We worked in small groups for this challenge. When we had completed it we learnt about the 4 compass points and answered questions about the animals locations, using the compass. Great team work Class 2!
