Our church drawings

This term in our RE sessions Class 1 are finding out about the church and why it is so important. This week, we talked about St Stephen’s church and how it is special to our school. We then went on a walk to look at the distinctive features of the outside of the church. We spotted the cross and bell tower on the roof and the beautiful windows. We saw the cross that some of the children helped make on Good Friday- we loved how colourful it was!
 

When we got back into class, we all drew a picture of the church remembering the key features. The children were all so focused when drawing and colouring in their church drawings. Fantastic work Class 1!
