Image of Looking after our mental health

Today in class 2 we have been talking about our mental health and well being. We listened to a story about a little dinosaur who overthinks and worries. It isn’t long before a small butterfly of worry starts to flutter in his tummy. We talked about ways the dinosaur could ease his worries and drew on our own strategies to help when we feel anxious. We talked about listening to calm music, doing exercise, placing our worries into a jar or even writing them down in a diary. We then took some time to relax and enjoyed completing some doodle art as we listened to some mindfulness music.
