The Moon landings

Class 2 have watched a video of the first moon landing back in 1969. They then wrote some facts about the mission on Apollo 11 and the astronauts involved. Some of them were put on our display. The children enjoyed painting a moon afterwards, using glitter, grey paint and crushed chalk to create the bumpy, dusty surface of the moon. 
Mrs Hayward was pleased with how many children have been talking about their learning at home and bringing in books, art, facts and even a projector show to share, great work Class 2!
