Capacity Exploration in the Snow

This week, our maths learning has been focused on exploring capacity. Today we went outside to have fun in the snow and explore capacity. We worked with a partner to show our containers full, empty and half full of snow. We then showed the containers nearly full and nearly empty. Everyone had such fun and could use the vocabulary relating to capacity superbly! It was a bit tricky to dig the snow at times as it had gone quite hard but we persevered!
