Class 2 enjoyed an Autumn Walk around our playground and Outdoor classroom this week. They were looking for ideas to help them write their own Autumn poems. The red leaves they found inspired the line ‘bright, colourful leaves crunching as loudly as crisp packets under my feet’ and the horse chestnuts became ‘little round, brown balls snuggled up in their shells as prickly as a hedgehog’, what interesting vocabulary all inspired by Nature, well done Class 2.
