Engineering Shadufs

OThis week in topic we’ve learnt how clever the Ancient Egyptians were. They created shadufs! A shaduf enabled the farmer to lift water from a low place to a high place so they could water their crops effectively; It was a great piece of engineering for the time! Today we’ve been planning and designing our own shadufs! In a few weeks time we’ll be creating our very own!
