As part of Mental Health Week 2022 Class Two have listened to the story The Colour Monster. The children loved the book, meeting a little monster who feels very ‘mixed up’. He’s yellow, blue, red, black and green all at once. The book explores how colours can represent feelings and we used this as inspiration for some art activities. We enjoyed a calm and relaxing afternoon exploring our own feelings in our heart and demonstrated this through colour and pattern. We also talked about ways to deal with our emotions and shared lots of useful tips with each other. Well done Class Two!
