Our Final Week at Nursery!

This week we’ve had a sensory week at playgroup, the children played in Gelli Baff and sand as we created our very own beach, lots of talking about holidays and then some children created an aeroplane using bricks and blocks and we all flew off to Ibiza.

We investigated an iceberg and discussed and used different media to try and melt the ice, the children poured on rock salt, bicarbonate of soda and then eventually warm water. They enjoyed painting on the ice as a different learning experience.

We have had a great year and its been lovely to be back, next week is our leavers graduation, party, water fun day and ice-cream day, to finish off the term and make some lasting memories of their time with us at GHU5s.
