Class 1 Home Learning

Hi Class 1!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! For now, you need to stay at home and do your school work there! I will miss seeing all of your smiling faces in our classroom but I can't wait to see all of the brilliant and exciting work you do at home!

Because I will miss you so much, we are going to have 2 google meetings every day, where I can speak to all of you and see how you are getting on! Our morning meeting will be at 10am. I will tell you what work you need to do that day and check that you are all ok! In the afternoon, our meeting will be at 3pm. You can show me some of your super work that you have done that day and we will also enjoy a story together! On Friday's, we will only have one meeting at this will be at 10am.

I have set your work for the week on google classroom. You will see a big document which will tell you all of the fun and exciting things you need to complete that week. Each day, you will need to do some Maths, Phonics, Reading and Literacy or Writing work. Some days, you will need to use our Educational apps: Doodle Maths, Purple Mash, Education City, Bug Club, Phonics Play and Teach your monster to read. You will also have some worksheets to complete which you will need to collect from school each Friday between 9am and 1pm ready for the next week. I have also set you some fun weekly topic tasks that you can complete with your family, like going for a winter walk!
