subtracting by counting back

The children in Year 1 have been continuing their work on subtraction this week. They have been learning a new strategy to subtract - counting back on a number line. They worked in pairs to solve some subtraction facts and particularly enjoyed setting some facts for their partner to solve too. Well done Year 1!
