We had an Ancient Egyptian day to finish our topic. We made our own Egyptian bracelets with different coloured beads, then had a Maths competition to see who could build the best pyramid from different materials. They were tested on strength, design and height. We played team PE games such as ‘The Pharaoh is coming’ and ‘escape the curse’. Later we revisited our work on mummification and played ‘wrap the mummy’! We also learnt some Egyptian songs and dance moves. It was a fun-filled day to finish our first history topic.
