Our new RE topic for this term is Why are some stories so special?
We have made a brilliant start to this topic by looking at the Bible and talking about how incredibly important it is to Christians. We then thought about Jesus and how he was not only a great storyteller and teacher, but also how he was such a good friend and cared for everyone. We found out that the stories Jesus told are called parables and we shared some together. We finished the session by thinking about what Jesus looks like and found lots of different paintings and pictures of him. The children were amazed to see how different the paintings of Jesus were and then had a fantastic time drawing their own pictures of Jesus.
