In maths this week, Class 1 have been exploring 1, 2 and 3 and using our mathematical skills and Ten Town to support our learning. We have meet King One, a Tommy Two and Thelma Three and played some brilliant number formation and subitising games to help us recognise these numbers.
Outside this afternoon, we played a fun Find your Partner games using number representation cards. Mrs Philp gave everyone a number representation card and we moved around the area. When Mrs Philp shouted “partner up” we had to find a friend who had the same number represented on their card. All the children were able to recognise the amount on their card by subitising or recognising the numeral and then found their correct partner.
