Today Class 1 carried out a melting experiment. We tested 4 different ways of melting ice cubes to see what happened to the ice and which was the quickest method.
We left one ice cube to melt at room temperature, one ice cube was placed into a bowl of warm water, one ice cube has warm water poured over it and the last ice cube we poured salt on top. We were really interested to see the patterns and rough surfaces created when we used the salt.
A lovely morning of science experiments!
