In our RE sessions about Why are some stories so special, we have been finding out about the bible and the stories Jesus told to his followers. We have found out that these stories are called Parables and teach us important lessons.
Today Class 1 listened to the Parable of the Lost Sheep and talked about how it tells us that everyone is so precious to Jesus and God. We then went outside and Mrs Philp was the shepherd and the rest of the class were the sheep. The sheep went out grazing in the fields but when Mrs Philp called the sheep back, we found that one sheep was missing. Class 1 were brilliant and helped Mrs Philp find the missing sheep as the shepherd did in the parable.
