In our maths session today, we have been exploring 1 more and 1 less using our outdoor resources.
Mrs Philp called out and showed a number and challenged the children to show 1 more than that number. All the children could accurately identify the number that was 1 more and had such fun finding different resources to represent 1 more than the number called.
Mrs Philp then called out another number and challenged the children to show 1 less than that number. Again all the children could confidently indemnify and represent 1 less than the number called.
