Here in Class 2 we like to try and watch Newsround every day to catch up on what is happening in the world around us.
On todays episode, they spoke about how today marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the Holocaust.
We had a brief discussion about why we spend time to remember things that have happened in the past, and those who have lost their lives because of it.
Upon reflection of what they had heard and learnt about the Holocaust from Newsround, the children here in class 2 asked if they could spend a minute of reflection in remembrance of all of those who lost their lives in the Holocaust.
