Image of Class 1s Big Garden Bird Watch

After learning all about birds and how to identify them Class 1 headed out to complete our big garden bird watch. We put on our rain suits so that we could lay down to camouflage ourselves and to not scare the birds away We tried our best to be quiet and headed out to the different areas of our wonderful school grounds. We spotted lots of squirrels on our travels and noted that the most popular bird we saw was a blue tit, there were lots over by our tyre park. We used 10 frames to tally up our totals for each bird. We heard so many birds songs and it was lovely to spend some calming time outdoors looking for birds.
