Light and Dark

Class 1 have read the text Little Glow this week and have explored all things Light and Dark.

We looked at images of different objects that create light and how they work. We talked about electricity, batteries and fire! 

The children then explored creating star constellations using picture with holes in to create the image and placing them infront of the torches to see the constellation shine through. We also use the torches to create shadows using different objects and used the torches to shine through different materials to see if they reflected the colour of the material or changed the way the light shon out of the torch.

We had a wonderful time in our light and dark classroom adventure!
