Creating our own natural patterns

In our maths sessions this week, we are exploring patterns. This afternoon after looking at some repeating patterns together in class, the children were challenged to create their own repeating pattern using natural resources they found in our outdoor classroom. 
 

All the children worked really hard and created some amazing repeating patterns and loved sharing their patterns with their friends.
